For over 35 years, Parker Medical Associates, LLC has been a premier manufacturer of specialty athletic protective guards and other resin impregnated fiberglass-based products located in Charlotte, NC.
Bruce Parker, our visionary Owner, began manufacturing in Charlotte in 1987. His patented fiberglass roll splinting system revolutionized fracture care across the world. In 2018, Parker Medical sold its splinting and casting business assets and operations to a leading medical products manufacturer in North Carolina in order to concentrate on and develop its specialty athletic manufacturing business. PMA is an official manufacturer of the Evoshield brand of GEL-TO-SHELL™ products for Wilson Sporting Goods Company.
In addition to athletic manufacturing, we also produce other signature cut and sew product lines for a variety of valued customers.
At Parker, we are committed to ensuring that our activities, and everything and everyone involved, helps to contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive world. We adhere to the highest standards of ethical manufacturing practices, participating in global accountability and improvement surveys. None of our products contain any of the hazardous substances identified on the REACH list promulgated by the EU or on California’s Prop 65 listing.
Since the onset of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, our company has partnered with the Carolina Textile District (CTD) to produce PPE for local frontline workers, including masks and disposable gowns.
